Faith based retreat for female veterans and first responders seeking true healing and freedom through Jesus Christ.

About this event

Christian Warriors Retreat offers faith based retreats for veterans, first responders, and wives. Retreats are scheduled throughout the year at El Shaddai Retreat Center in Yorktown, Texas for both men and women. Our mission is to seek true healing and freedom through Jesus Christ.

At the CWR Female Veterans and First Responders retreat, we set aside time and space for you to encounter the one true God. Our hope is that this time alone with God would offer the opportunity for you to surrender your will to Jesus and allow for Him to redeem, restore and refresh your soul by His Spirit. As you draw closer to God, He will draw closer to you and reveal Himself through His Word and Holy Spirit.

Our personal journeys with Jesus may be in different stages. That’s OK. There is something for everyone at this retreat whether you are a first time seeker or you have been walking with the Lord for years. Your very presence and testimony may be the spark that ignites someone else in their relationship with Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. The weekend is filled with a glorious, relaxing and safe atmosphere that allows for intentional and honest talk about real life issues that affect us all daily at home, work and ministry.

During the retreat, your hope and strength will be renewed as you hear testimonies about God’s faithfulness, mercy, goodness and power that has brought beauty from ashes and transformed lives all for His honor, glory and praise. Biblical teachings will also be offered throughout the weekend, with times of dialogue and practical application, to equip and train you to do the work of the Lord and further His Kingdom by making disciples of Jesus Christ. Some topics will include: how to share the gospel, repentance, being born again, baptism, inner healing and deliverance, and being a disciple of Jesus Christ.

Both indoor and outdoor activities will be scheduled throughout the weekend such as bible journaling, painting, and other various forms of worship like flagging and praise dancing. The scenic and calming grounds at the retreat allows for personal time to study your bible, fellowship and taking a peaceful walk.

Ministers will be available during the weekend to walk alongside, encourage and pray for you. Also, the beautiful chapel will be available for times of praise, worship and prayer throughout the weekend.
