MISSIONThe mission of "Wounded Heroes of Texas, Inc" is to honor, empower, and to express our gratitude to our wounded soldiers and their families, . PURPOSETo raise public awareness and to enlist the public’s aid for the needs of injured service members, to help injured servicemen and women provide aid and assistance to each other, and to provide unique, direct programs and services to meet their needs. HISTORYWounded Heroes of Texas, Inc began when several veterans, bikers, and friends, moved by stories of many of our local wounded service members returning home from Afghanistan and Iraq, recognized the needs for these soldiers and took action to help these and other heroes, in need. What started as a program to provide comfort items to wounded service members will grow into a complete rehabilitative effort to assist local heroes as they recover and transition back to civilian life.
Thousands of wounded heroes and caregivers receive support each year through organizations such as these programs, designed to nurture the mind and body, and encourage economic empowerment. Wounded Heroes of Texas, Inc® is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization.
