We are the official command charged by the Commandant of the Marine Corps to provide longitudinal care and support for wounded, ill, and injured Marines and their families.
The Wounded Warrior Regiment provides leadership and enables non-medical care to combat and non-combat Wounded, Ill, and Injured (WII) Marines, sailors attached to Marine units, and their family members in order to maximize their recovery as they return to duty or transition to civilian life.
The Regimental headquarters, located in Quantico, Virginia, commands the operation of two Wounded Warrior Battalions and multiple detachments in locations around the globe, including major military treatment facilities and Department of Veterans Affairs Polytrauma Rehabilitation Centers.
We have Marine leaders standing shoulder-to-shoulder with our warriors and families. Regardless of location, our services are available to the total force – active duty, reserve, veteran Marines, and their families.
