The Tarrant County Veteran Services Office is an advocate agency established to assist veterans and/or their survivors to obtain entitled benefits from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and the State of Texas. Our office is a part of and is funded by Tarrant County. We are not a part of the U. S. Department of Veterans Affairs, more commonly known as the VA.
We can provide our expert advice about the various VA and State of Texas benefit programs, as well as their eligibility requirements and application procedures. We also assist you in completing all the forms necessary to apply for benefits, and assist in gathering other supporting documentation necessary to file a proper claim or an appeal with the VA. We will also assist in resolving problems that arise from filing a benefit claim, and assist in getting answers to questions you may have about the laws and regulations that govern veterans' and survivor benefits. We don't just stop providing assistance after the benefit claim application has been submitted, we will stay with you throughout the entire claims process until you are satisfied with the results you receive from the VA. We work for Tarrant county Veterans and their survivors free of charge.
