Texas A&M - Don & Ellie Knauss Veteran Resource & Support Center

About Us

Founded in 2012 to serve the growing population of military and veteran students, the VRSC continues the university's legacy of supporting those who've served since 1919.

Services offered

The Veteran Resource & Support Center (VRSC) was founded in 2012 in response to the exponential growth in veteran, active duty, national guard, and reserve students attending Texas A&M University. These students proudly walk in the footsteps of their fellow Aggies who answered the call of Selfless Service by choosing to serve in the United States military. Since 1919 Texas A&M University has supported veteran and military students, and the VRSC is continuing that legacy as a national leader in service to this valued and enduring segment of the student population.

Mission

The Don & Ellie Knauss Veteran Resource & Support Center provides current Texas A&M University Students who previously served or are currently serving in the United States military with proprietary and partnered programming in order to facilitate student success from application to vocation.

Vision

The VRSC will set the national standard in higher education for facilitating the success of veteran and military students. This status will be achieved through close collaboration with university partners and fellow institutions nationally and will contribute to Texas A&M University being the number one veteran and military student serving institution in the nation.
