WVSA Community Action
Women Veterans of San Antonio's goals include giving back to our Veteran community and local community as a whole. We are always looking for new organizations to support, but below are a few ways in which we have given back.
How we support other Veterans:-The annual Veterans Stand Down hosted by the American GI Forum. We do extensive fundraising in order to provide the homeless women Veterans of San Antonio much needed items to make their lives a little easier. -During various Veterans Day celebrations each November we volunteer our time to bring public awareness to the specific issues of Women Veterans. -We support the UTSA Student Veterans Association.
How we support our community:-Volunteer at the San Antonio Food Bank-Give back to the New Beginnings Children's Home-Volunteer at Haven For Hope
