Combatants Overcoming Income Needs (COIN)
The COIN Project offers one-time financial assistance to low-income combat veterans, surviving spouses of combat veterans or spouses of combat veterans that are the resident of a long-term treatment facility in the state of Texas. Financial Assistance is available for:
- Rental or mortgage assistance
- Auto repairs
- Auto payments
- Auto insurance
- Bus passes
- Child care
- Utilities
This program is made possible by a grant from the Texas Veterans Commission Fund for Veterans’ Assistance. The Fund for Veterans’ Assistance Provides grants to organizations serving veterans and their families.Veterans receive priority over other students in our high-demand training programs.
