Debunk Myths & Leverage Opportunities with the VA Home Loan
About this event
As we re-launch our Veteran Family Transition (VFT) program, we are excited to kick off our new Up & Out Seminar Series with a mini-series on housing for transitioning and post-service veteran families. When a service member transitions from military to civilian life, the family transitions alongside them, and all the major decisions, such as where to live, who will puruse education vs. carreer, whether to rent or buy and so many more are made as a family unit.
Transition can be a bumpy road, and we are here for you, offering an educational and holistic approach to military service transition to help make a smooth transition for the whole family. Our Up & Out Seminar Series will connect transitioning families with experts from across the country to provide needed information on a variety of transition topics, ranging from housing, finances, benefits, healthcare, relationships, and so much more!
The Truth About the VA Home Loan Benefit session will bring experts from the Aligned Education Foundation to walk families through the VA Home Loan process, debunking myths, and equipping families with the information they need to leverage their opportunities and make the best decision for their family to set down roots.
All are welcome to attend. We encourage not only veterans, but couples, spouses, partners, caregivers, family members, and anyone interested in learning about the VA Home Loan process to join this seminar. Providers for the military and veteran community are also welcome to join to learn more about this program.
Please note that this event will take place on Zoom. Upon registration for the event, you will be e-mailed a Zoom invite to join via computer, tablet, or phone.
Note: To be eligible for this open house you must be the spouse or committed partner of a post-service veteran or an active duty service member who is within one year of separation from the military.
