The Buda Veterans Day Parade & Honor Ceremony is an annual small-town patriotic gathering in historic downtown Buda, Texas, designed to honor local active-duty military, veterans, and their families. The morning kicks off with a community parade along Main Street and culminates in a dedicated tribute ceremony.
The Route: The procession travels north up Main Street, makes a left onto San Marcos Street, and finishes right in front of the Old Buda Elementary Upper Campus where the formal honor ceremony takes place.
Companion Events: Alongside the Saturday parade, organizers coordinate an exclusive Veterans Day Breakfast for local service members and their spouses, and local downtown merchants often run dedicated veteran discounts.
No-Fee Participation: Local organizations, marching groups, and veteran-owned businesses can join the procession for free, with "Best in Show" community awards handed out right after.
