The Center for Deployment Psychology

The Center for Deployment Psychology (CDP) trains both military and civilian behavioral health professionals to provide high-quality deployment related behavioral health services to military personnel and their families.  Visit the website to see the CDP's educational packages geared towards behavioral health providers who treat service members. The trainings address the psychological reactions of service members and their families throughout the deployment cycle, as well as the deployment experience of uniformed behavioral health providers themselves: Training for Military Providers Training for Civilian Providers Evidence-Based Workshops Online Training Courses University Counseling Center Core Competency Certificate ProgramMACE Training Program Seminars

The Center for Deployment Psychology is guided by a Board of Directors. The CDP Charter requires that the voting Board of Directors include a representative from each of the Armed Services, typically the Senior Psychology Advisor to the Service Surgeon General, an External Federal Representative, generally a Sr. Veteran's Affairs Psychologist and a representative from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences.
