Dallas County Community College District (DCCCD) - Eastfield College - Veterans Services

Eastfield College not only offers a wide array of associate degree programs and certificates, but we are an affordable alternative to many four-year universities.

Our Veteran Services Office is your liaison to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs for certification of your veteran and veteran-related education benefits. Whether you're currently serving in the military, a veteran or a veteran's dependent, we want to help you succeed in college and enjoy the full value of your active duty or veteran's educational benefits.

We offer individual academic advisement, registration, degree planning, course certification for VA benefits, and referrals for campus and community resources.

  • Attend CEVSS (Centers of Excellence for Veteran Student Success) New Student Orientation.  Newly admitted student veterans should attend one of these sessions to discuss next steps in enrollment and learn how to activate (certify) your enrollment for benefits.
  • Submit transcripts
  • Take placement tests
  • Develop an Educational Plan with a CEVSS Advisor
  • Register for Classes and Make Payment Plans

To become a current student, please visit our website to complete the application form. If you're returning and have been out for over a year, please submit the application form to update our records.

Submit your signed Eastfield College (EFC) Certification request form to CEVSS as soon as you register for courses. You can submit your form by email 4veteranaffairs@dcccd.edu or fax to 972-860-8340. This is required in order to activate educational benefit funds.
