The Denton County Veterans Service Office offers vital assistance to Denton County Veterans and their dependents in filing VA benefit claims.
Staff is available to assist persons in corresponding with the Department of Veterans Affairs, explaining veterans benefits, determining eligibility requirement and providing the complete form necessary to file a claim with the Department of Veterans Affairs compensation and pension claims, VA Health care enrollment, education assistance, death and burial benefits, military records and appeals representation. This office does not adjudicate claims but will assist in resolving problems and obtain answers to perplexing questions based on federal and state laws and regulations pertaining to veterans, their dependents and/or survivors.

- To better serve, we ask visitors to arrive as close to opening hours for the day or opening hours after lunch. Arriving closer to closing runs the risk of being asked to return at a later time or date due to our busy operations.
