At Equine Connection Counseling, we strive to create a safe and therapeutic environment for you to grow and heal. We have a strong team comprised of counselors and equine specialists. The relationship that you will form with the horse(s) is a crucial component to the counseling process. Upon arriving on-site, you will feel instantly at ease surrounded by tall trees, open space, and beautiful horses.
Through Operation Hoofbeat, we are proud to offer a spectrum of services to meet former and current service-member's individual needs and match each individual with a service tailored specifically to meet those needs.
Based on availability, military veterans and dependents may qualify for FREE services through Operation Hoofbeat and our partnership with Wings of Hope Equitherapy.
We currently offer three services through which service-members can become involved:
- Equine assisted psychotherapy and counseling
- Therapeutic horseback riding
- Volunteering
Each service-member will meet with the Operation Hoofbeat coordinator, Hallie Sheade, to discuss individual needs and goals along with service recommendations.
