Family Houston

Whether you are struggling on your own or have a family that is counting on you, you can count on us. At times, we all need someone we can count on.

Someone who knows what to do. Someone who can help us discover the strength we have inside.

You’ll find the help you need at Family Houston. You’ll find someone who will listen. You’ll find someone who will help you think through your problem and find the right solutions. You’ll find someone who can help you gather the resources you need to overcome the challenges you meet as you move through life.

Last year, Family Houston served more than 80,000 people through programs and outreach, providing children and families with the tools and skills needed to improve their lives and become self-sufficient. The agency’s current services include counseling; parent resources and education; case management for families, seniors, veterans and persons living with HIV/AIDS; veteran services; substance abuse prevention and education; and financial education.

Veterans Services

Family Houston helps Iraq and Afghanistan veterans and their families rebuild their lives and relationships.

The agency provides financial assistance dealing with emergency situations and also provides connections to crucial resources.

In addition, we can also connect you to other agency services such as:

financial coaching; and family counseling; parenting and co-parenting resources; and employment services.

We owe our veterans our thanks for their service and Family Houston is here to help ease the transition from military to civilian life.
