Who We Are. What We Do.
Feed My Sheep is a Temple, Texas faith-based ministry for the homeless and needy of our community. We provide free hot meals and sack lunches seven days a week. We also offer showers, laundry facilities, and other personal services such as haircuts and wellness clinics free of charge. For a more complete listing of services we provide, please see our Services page.A wide variety of groups of people from in and around Temple sponsor either the hot meal or the sack lunch (or both) every day. Groups take turns preparing and serving the meal, with some groups/individuals doing so on a monthly or weekly basis. Local businesses and individuals donate money, time, and/or supplies for additional needs like building renovations, new appliances, haircuts, etc.Feed My Sheep is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. All monetary donations are tax deductible. Since we own our building and have no paid employees, all monies donated go toward much-needed building renovations and items for direct use by and for our community's underserved population. Objectives
- Re-establish the homeless as productive members within the local workforce and community
- Build self-esteem by assisting in obtaining identification, housing, education (GED), medical, and other personal needs
- Expand assistance services to include a short-term women and children's shelter
- Treat each individual with dignity, love, and respect
