Agencies We Serve
The Galveston County Food Bank is dedicated to improving access to nutritional food for the economically disadvantaged people in Galveston County including children, working poor, elderly, people with disabilities, shut-ins and others in need. Our role as the county's food bank is vital to the receiving, warehousing and quick and efficient distribution of nutritional food as well as personal hygiene items and cleaning supplies throughout the county. It is through our collaborative partnerships with United Way, the national food bank network, local pantries, meal sites and other food distribution sites that we are able to reach deeper into the local communities, making a true difference in the amount of food that can pass through to individual residents. Each participating agency listed below helps in identifying the specific needs in their respective communities.
