The Movin’ Mavs wheelchair basketball team has won 8 NWBA Intercollegiate Division national championships. The Lady Movin' Mavs began in 2013 and won their first NWBA Intercollegiate Division national championship in 2016. The Movin' Mavs team has a rich history of leading the nation in intercollegiate wheelchair basketball, exemplified by offering partial and full athletic scholarships to team players.
Team members are consistently being named to the First-Team All-American squads, participating in the Paralympics, and are included in invitations each year for USA men's and women's national team events.
