The intent of the Rural Community & Faith-Based Partnership Program is to involve community & faith-based organizations in developing and implementing strategies to support the wellbeing of veterans and their families residing in the rural areas of Texas. There are 254 counties in Texas, of which 144 to 191 are considered rural, frontier, or “micropolitan”. VMHD aims to address the mounting need of services in these rural areas of Texas by engaging and involving local community & faith-based organizations.

At Amistad, we understand and respect the men and women who have served our Country. Our program assists Veterans and Active-Duty Service Members within the El Paso community. Our goal is to provide a safe environment for families to thrive during and after their service.

The Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic at Endeavors, El Paso provide in-person and virtual high-quality, accessible, and integrated mental health care to Veterans, regardless of role while in uniform, discharge status, or combat experience, active duty service members (with a TRICARE referral), and military families.
