This service includes Clothing, Shelter/Housing Information, Information for the Disabled, Medical Screenings, Legal Services, VA Claims and Benefit Information, Substance Abuse Treatment Information, SNAP Information, Help with DD214, Services for Women Veterans, Survival Benefits and Certification of Eligibility.

Rural Communities & Faith-Based Partnerships - TVC Veterans Mental Health Department

The intent of the Rural Community & Faith-Based Partnership Program is to involve community & faith-based organizations in developing and implementing strategies to support the wellbeing of veterans and their families residing in the rural areas of Texas. There are 254 counties in Texas, of which 144 to 191 are considered rural, frontier, or “micropolitan”. VMHD aims to address the mounting need of services in these rural areas of Texas by engaging and involving local community & faith-based organizations.

The Houston Regional US Veterans Chamber of Commerce ( HVC ) supports the growth and development of Veteran owned, Veteran service organizations & patriot businesses through advocacy, collaboration, and business education in the Houston Region to achieve their own economic success and build a better community together.
