The Armstrong Community Music School is pleased to offer free weekly guitar classes and performance opportunities for all veterans. Experienced teachers guide veterans in increasing their musical skills while experiencing the healing power of music and group camaraderie. The afternoon at the music school includes an hour of socializing with coffee and cookies.

Microsoft provides transitioning service members and veterans of the U.S. military free training in a number of Microsoft certifications and job placement in or outside of Microsoft.

Online program that translates military skills and training to college credit accepted at dozens of participating Texas colleges and universities. Partnership between the Texas Workforce Commission and Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board.

Education Grants for children of active/retired Air Force personnel, Spouses of Active Air Force personnel, Surviving Spouses of Air Force Personnel

$300 for scholarship for Marines and surviving children of fallen Marines, or children/grandchildren of members of the organization, will cover items not covered by other funding.

UT Arlington Veterans Upward Bound is a free program for qualified veterans, designed to motivate and assist veterans in the development of academic and other requisite skills necessary for acceptance and success in a program of postsecondary education. The program provides assessment and enhancement of basic skills through counseling, mentoring, tutoring and academic instruction in the core subject areas of mathematics through pre-calculus, laboratory science, foreign language, composition and literature.
