VA Releases Annual Veteran Suicide Prevention Report with State-Level Data

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs has released its 2025 National Veteran Suicide Prevention Annual Report. The publication, available in two parts - an overview and report findings - includes the most up-to-date data available, which is national death certificate data from 2023.

Two appendices are available:

1. National Suicide Data Appendix
2. All-Cause Mortality Appendix

Additionally, state-level data is available. That includes the Texas Veteran Suicide Data Sheet, 2023.
